A weekend in the city.. From biking down embarcadero, for dim-sum in china town, gealto in north beach, the sf moma in soma, a crissy fields walk.. I probably should’ve gotten my beast-mode on this weekend, and worked on the reel… but a sunny weekend in the city, with no obligations is hard to resist.

My homie Owen & his lady Shenna got hitched this past weekend.  Since I’ve known him back in ’99, and being that we we were b-boy partners in our crew Rewind Status, I was honored to be one of his groomsmen.  It’s actually kinda crazy knowing this dude, because he’s probably one of the oddest/smartest people I know. And though we’re totally different, we’ve always had an an eye to friendship.

What’s funny is that O’s the kind of dood that would be talking bio-medical science to a half naked lady, in a Las Vegas strip club.  Not that that actually happened or anything.. but I guess he’s just that genius.  From Rewind Status B-boy, to SJSU Vice President, to graduating again from UC Davis, and now killing it at Stanford Medical School…. This guy put in mad ridiculous work, to get to where he is today.

Talk about the path less traveled.  He’s 30 and still in school… with like another 5-6 years to go… it’s all gonna be worth it once he gets that starting 400K.  Congratulations to you, O + Shenna. Proud of ya’ll.  Best of luck…. and your first kid should be named Ra.
