i miss these days… a lot.

This is some beautiful, holographic concept art, for Iron Man 2, by Prologue.  Now, the movie has already been released, and Prologue has already put out some great behind the scenes footage for us to check out.  But I came across these concept stills through the motionographer flikr page, and was amazed at the full on dimensions they allowed the public to see.

As a designer, I’m a fan that, 1, they got work on such a huge movie. 2, the design aesthetic, colors, ideas, and smallest details are very inspiring.  3, Their take on this ‘minority report’ style, has been elevated and improved on, with being able to interact with 3d parts and elements.

What’s more profound, is that this technology is in the making, by guys like John Underkoffler.  Weather it’s useful or realistic, is debatable. But to see art become a reality… is simply exciting.

..But there’s also an audio book. for folks like me who aint got time to sit n read….cha-ching!

This is a Don P drop, mixed in with a bit of process, a dose of horns, a couple swigs of henny, a healthy serving of inspiration, and a taste of the future.  Hope yall enjoyed seeing this project come into fruition.
